Tidal Bore Rafting

Rafters get ready for the thrill of a lifetime! Experience the awesome force of the Bay of Fundy tides in the rapids of the Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia’s largest river.



Victoria Park

Victoria Park is one of Truro’s greatest assets – a natural woodland park of roughly 400 acres in the centre of town. Lepper Brook, with its two sets of waterfalls, flows through a steep tree covered rocky gorge. Several walking trails follow along the brook allowing a close view of this unique setting.



Fossil Hunting

Hunt for Gems and Fossils on Nova Scotia Beaches. The Joggins Fossil Centre provides an exceptional learning experience, featuring an extensive fossil specimen collection, exhibits and tours.



Tidal Bore

The world famous Tidal Bore, the worlds fastest rising tides, amazing as it fills the riverbed against the current, and quite quickly as well.



Little White Schoolhouse

An authentic early 1900’s one room schoolhouse, complete with furnishings and relics from the era.
